The Wave London

The Wave Group Ltd / London, UK

Riding the success of Bristol, The Wave London is set to build upon its legacy – bringing the positive power of water and waves, accessible surfing and a range of outdoor activities to the nation’s capital. A beacon of health and wellbeing, the experience is one that celebrates all aspects of the outdoors and the blue-green landscape of the Lee Valley site. McGregor Coxall are appointed to undertake Masterplanning and Landscape Architecture services for The Wave London.

The landscape-led masterplan reimagines the golf course into a site comprising five different activity zones, including the surfing lake; recreational and sporting activities beyond surfing; health and wellbeing facilities; camping and accommodation; places for relaxation around Ponders End Lake; and a new biodiverse canal edge corridor. The project will be the centrepiece of regenerated land adjacent to the Lee Valley Athletics Centre, North London and will bring both visitors and jobs to the area.Pictured: The Wave Bristol (credit: The Wave)
