Senior Landscape Architect

Thomas Flugge is a Senior Landscape Architect at McGregor Coxall with over eight years of experience in Australia and internationally. Thomas leads projects holistically with social and ecological awareness, underpinning his landscape practice with values of environmental regeneration, community, and care.

He is committed to co-developing meaningful projects with communities and establishing respectful partnerships that facilitate positive impacts for future generations of people, plants, animals, and waterways. As an educator within RMIT University, Thomas approaches Landscape Architecture Design Studios through the exploration and intersection of regenerative landscape design, biodiversity, and Country.

As our Reconciliation Partnerships Leader, Thomas is continually advocating for respectful engagement with First Nations’ knowledge and Traditional Owner perspectives within our design practice. He facilitates opportunities for our team to learn from the past, build cultural competency and foster inclusive, welcoming environments.
