Inspiring Future Landscape Architects at National Saturday Club

McGregor Coxall Design Director, Steve Kennedy, and Graduate Landscape Architects Amy Marsden and Tanvi Khurmi, had a fantastic time leading the Designing Sustainable Cities architectural masterclass for University of Central Lancashire Art&Design Saturday Club.

Students were fully immersed in the world of landscape architecture, covering everything from on-site analysis to role assignments and collaborative design.

The lively session kicked off with a site visit to Preston Flag Market, where students sketched the space and discussed inspirational design features and potential challenges. The group were then challenged to reimagine the area using vegetables to build urban design models, resulting in innovative designs.
