Ilona is a Senior Landscape Architect with a passion for designing beautiful and functional spaces. Her interest in landscape architecture was sparked during a year spent studying in Turkey, where she became fascinated by the rich and diverse landscapes associated with cultural and historical context. Ilona's global education continued with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in landscape architecture, during which she participated in international projects and conferences throughout Europe and the Middle East. Her passion for human-centered design led her to spend a year at the University of Copenhagen, where she became familiar with post-industrial urban transformation and nature-based treatments. As part of her Master's Degree, Ilona participated in an EU funded COST Action Program to research urban allotment gardening in the UK, Denmark, Estonia, and Poland. Ilona has since gained practical experience during an internship placement in the UK, working on small and large scale regeneration projects. Ilona enjoys experimenting with graphical representation of projects and mastering Adobe software. Her skills in CAD drawings, 3D modeling, and research have proven invaluable to her colleagues. She became a chartered Landscape Architect in autumn 2021 and is always eager to continue developing her skills.
