The McGregor Coxall Shanghai studio recently hosted a delegation of University of Technology Sydney (UTS) students as part of a three-week study tour which saw the group travel from Beijing to Hong Kong.  Over 17 students attended the trip which included Hugh Marchant from our Sydney studio.  The group was introduced to Shanghai Studio lead, Jack Qian who presented our recent Lingang project as well as competition entries including East Bund and Qianhai Waterfront.  The visit gave students a professional insight to overseas operations whilst allowing them to explore the diverse Chinese landscape and the scale of programs currently underway nationally.   The primary objective of the trip was to give the students an opportunity to meet landscape  practitioners living and working in the region and gain an appreciation of the challenges facing the environment and how the profession is contributing to creating more resilient cities.
