University of Adelaide AHMS News / Project Opening / 24.02.2017

The University of Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences (AHMS) Building officially opened on the 24th February 2017. The $246 million state-of-the-art medical school is designed for the next generation of health professionals. The new building is located in the north Terrace precinct next door to SAHMRI and the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. AHMS will cater for 1600 medical, nursing and dental students, and house 400 researchers. McGregor Coxall undertook Landscape Architecture services for the project providing flexible outdoor amenity on the campus to cater for passive recreation, informal learning and events.
