Paul grew up in Toowoomba, a city in the Darling Downs region of Queensland. Renowned for its gardens and trees, his upbringing in the region has strongly influenced his rich perspective on the landscape. Paul holds a Bachelor of Design in Landscape Architecture with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane with additional qualifications Audio Engineering. His final year included extensive research into the dredged landscapes of the Brisbane River and speculated on integrating dredged material with the creation of large-scale urban infrastructure and novel forms of public realm. Prior to joining McGregor Coxall in 2017, Paul worked as both a student and graduate landscape architect in Brisbane. In his spare time, Paul enjoys hiking, discovering new plants, and drawing the built and natural environment.
