Michael leads the McGregor Coxall Urbanism Discipline and Bristol Studio drawing on over 10 years of international and national project experience. Graduating from Newcastle University [UK] with a high distinction in the Masters of Urban Design. Michael’s passion rests in integrating both masterplanning and placemaking together, creating healthy, climate adaptive, and vibrant places that sensitively respond to a local community’s needs. Michael has an innate ability to strategise a project, integrate stakeholder aspirations, and build lasting bonds and partnerships between disparate organisations and communities with the ultimate mission of securing a liveable and sustainable future. He is a regular conference presenter and industry advocate for community focused revitalisation through his active involvement in local urban design bodies and university tutoring programmes.
