Sustainable Resilient Development, Integrated Water Management & Blue-Green (Living) Infrastructure

Owen is a recognised leader across the Asia Pacific region in decentralised, sustainable and resilient civil infrastructure, integrated water, source control stormwater and blue-green infrastructure. Owen brings to McGregor Coxall over 24 years’ experience in environmental and civil engineering in both the public and private sectors. Owen has diverse experience which includes, coastal vulnerability, storm surge assessments, subdivision design, hydrodynamic modelling, design of sewer and water infrastructure, water planning, integrated water cycle management (IWCM), water sensitive urban design (WSUD), Asia Sponge City projects, and Blue-Green (Living) Infrastructure. Over the past decade Owen has emulated Prof.John Argue's Source Control for Stormwater Management and combined with integrated water management, Sponge City Concepts and Arboriculture to formulate a method which can generate optimal triple bottom line (3BL) benefits across environmental, social and economic scales. Resulting from this Owen has two inventions (patents) to his name: 1) a stormwater management device; and 2) a tree nurturing rainwater inlet device.
