Sustainable Resilient Development, Integrated Water Management & Blue-Green (Living) Infrastructure

Owen is a recognised leader across the Asia Pacific region in decentralised, sustainable and resilient civil infrastructure, integrated water, source control stormwater and blue-green infrastructure. Owen brings to McGregor Coxall over 25 years’ experience in environmental and civil engineering in both the public and private sectors. Owen has diverse experience which includes: coastal vulnerability; storm surge assessments; subdivision design; hydrodynamic modelling; design of sewer and water infrastructure; water planning; integrated water cycle management (IWCM); water sensitive urban design (WSUD); Asia Sponge City projects; and Blue-Green (Living) Infrastructure. Over the past decade Owen has emulated Prof.John Argue's Source Control for Stormwater Management and combined with integrated water management, Sponge City Concepts and Arboriculture to formulate a method which can generate optimal triple bottom line (3BL) benefits across environmental, social and economic scales. Resulting from this Owen has two inventions (patents) to his name: 1) a stormwater management device; and 2) a tree nurturing rainwater inlet device.
