Nick has over 10 years international experience in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. Nick is co-Leader of McGregor Coxall's Melbourne studio where he is jointly responsible for the practices Victorian operations and leading project teams. Nick's expertise lies in leading and managing the design of complex, ecologically and culturally sensitive projects across transport, tourism and urban development sectors. He is passionate about regenerative design, circular economy and engagement with traditional custodians of place, this drives his resolve for innovative project outcomes that address our urgent need to live safely within our planetary boundaries. Nick has led major Landscape & Urban Design commissions including the Reservoir Station for LXRP, Monash University's Southern Precinct Landscape, the Melbourne Connect project for the University of Melbourne and Wellington City Council's Water Sensitive Urban Design Guide. Nick is currently leading the design and construction review of the Grampians Peak Trail Campsites for Parks Victoria, leading the 160 ha Landscape Master Plan for the redevelopment of the Wantirna South Boral Quarry site, and collaborating on the Open Space design of the Macaulay Urban Renewal Precinct for the City of Melbourne.
