Parks + Play

With extensive experience in designing and delivering innovative parks and play spaces that cater to diverse communities and needs, McGregor Coxall’s portfolio includes a wide range of projects, from large-scale urban parks to neighbourhood playgrounds, each designed with a focus on sustainability, community engagement, and creating unique experiences.

We have a proven track record of transforming under-utilised spaces into vibrant community hubs, incorporating elements such as nature play, water features, and interactive installations to encourage active and passive recreation.

Playful designs

Our approach to parks and play projects is rooted in ecological sensitivity and sustainability. We incorporate water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), recycled materials, and renewable energy sources. Prioritising community engagement, we work closely with stakeholders to ensure that each project meets the community need while enhancing environmental and cultural values.

Children are playing on a large spinning disc at the Lizard Log playground, surrounded by natural greenery and trees. Some children are pushing the disc while others ride on it, and a child is seen swinging on a tire swing in the park's sandy area.
