Building India’s Blue-Green Network: A Strategic Framework for Bengaluru is a multi-disciplinary international collaboration supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-India Council, delivering knowledge-sharing workshops & cross-cultural investigations to develop innovative planning approaches to integrated environmental, water, urban, & landscape design. McGregor Coxall led the project alongside partners Integrated Design (Bengaluru), bringing together international subject experts & thought leaders, in conjunction with key government actors & stakeholders prominent in blue-green initiatives & programs, such as; Adrian Grey, (Greening the West Chair & Brimbank City Council), Melbourne Water, Sydney Water, Bengaluru Municipal Corporation Lakes Authority Department, Ashoka Trust For Research In Ecology & The Environment (ATREE), World Resources Institute (India), & a host of others from Australia & India.The project aims to establish a shared vision & integrated road map for Bengaluru’s Blue-Green Network that will assist in driving future city development with equitable, holistic community benefits & environmental outcomes at regional & local levels.
