Steve Buck

Associate Director

Steve is an Associate Director, Environmental Engineer, and specialist in building city resilience through whole-of-water-cycle management and climate adaptation strategies. His interdisciplinary background in Environmental Engineering, Economics, and Finance aid the restoration of cities’ ecosystem services in the urban realm for economic, social, and environmental benefits.

A senior team leader within McGregor Coxall’s Environment Discipline, Steve takes a holistic approach to his work with influences from Scandinavian urban design and sustainable water management, stemming from years’ study abroad at Lund University (Sweden), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and the Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI). Steve carries these experiences and his strong analytical, quantitative and creative problem-solving skills to the development of Integrated Water Management (IWM) strategies and innovative Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) projects globally.
