Maite is an architect and landscape designer with a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she graduated with maximum distinction and two academic distinctions. Her work focuses on ecological and socially driven design, with a particular interest in sustainable urban landscapes, public space, water-sensitive design, and the integration of natural systems within cities.
Her academic research explored urban wetlands as remediation infrastructure within the estuarine landscape of Valdivia, investigating how natural and artificial drainage systems can work together to strengthen urban resilience. Through both professional and academic experience, she has developed skills across landscape architecture, public realm design, planting design, spatial analysis, GIS mapping, technical documentation, and visual communication.
Maite has contributed to community and public space projects with a strong focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and collective wellbeing.
