McGregor Coxall was awarded 2 prizes at the IFLA APR Congress in Bangkok, Thailand held on 4 November 2017. The federation received a total of 104 project entries from fifty landscape architecture firms across ten countries. Ballast Point park was given an Outstanding Award in the Parks and Open Space category whilst Lingang Bird Airport received an Honourable mention in the Analysis & Master Planning category.

Officially launched by IFLA Asia-Pacific President Damian Tang in March of this year, the IFLA Asia-Pac LA Awards were open to members of national landscape architecture institutes in the Asia-Pacific region that hold IFLA membership. Entries were put through a rigorous two-stage judging process, which consisted of five regional IFLA presidents as well as two special guest jury members.
