Project Description: Located on McEvoy Street Alexandria in Green Square, on a 4300m2 site, this project consists of 67 apartments in three separate buildings arranged around a large common courtyard. The buildings are mixed use with home office on the ground floor and residential on the upper floors. Roof rain water is stored and then directed to the courtyard for irrigation. A water cascade is located on the rear blade wall in the courtyard. All plant material specified is Australian native and the courtyard is ringed by a banksia forest. A timber ramp provides access to the upper terrace garden which is furnished with chaise lounges. A public park has been dedicated to Council by the developer and is located on the corner of Fountain and McEvoy streets. A red illuminated sign denotes the corner. The park has an interpretative stone element which traces the historic alignment of Sheas Creek now covered by a concrete drain.
